ITC-AeroLeasing Closes Ten Air Ambulance Lease Deals with a U.S. operator

3rd April 2020

ITC-AeroLeasing, Inc. (“ITC”) has commenced the lease of ten air ambulance aircraft to one of the largest air medical transportation companies in the United States. These transactions include six Pilatus PC-12s, two Airbus Helicopters H130s and one Airbus Helicopters H125. In addition to these aircraft, ITC has completed the refinancing of one Bell 407 to this U.S. based operator.

“I am very pleased to announce the successful completion of these air ambulance transactions with our customer, who is a leading provider of air and ground medical transportation services on the frontlines of medical emergencies including the COVID-19 outbreak.” said ITC President and CEO Mirika Nakayama. “ITC first financed and offered the Pilatus PC-12 for EMS operation in the mid-1990s, and we are convinced that these current PC-12s will remain a reliable and core asset in our customer’s air medical services fleet.” Mirika added.

“ITC’s managed portfolio is now approaching 60 aircraft, with over 40% of our fleet dedicated to EMS operations. As a leasing company with a strong focus on the EMS market, we are proud to have worked with this particular operator for the past five years and will continue to support humanitarian, government and air ambulance missions in the U.S. and around the World.” Mirika continued.

Eight of these aircraft will be in service immediately, and the remaining two will enter into service starting in June of this year, further expanding the operator’s current fleet to serve their communities.
